Happy chocolate and flower day!

It seems an appropriate day to give myself a present of sorts. I’ve been posting about interesting words and phrases twice a week for about five years. I can’t imagine ever running out of material, but I am squeezed for time, due to being a trifle over-ambitious. I have several projects on the go: a sequal to Cats & Crayons, a sequel to Deception Bay, a collection of blog posts (which will also contain new material), a new collection of short stories and poems, and I want to try my writer’s pen on a fantasy.

Five projects and, as I recall, only 24 hours in a day. Wish me luck!

I’ll continue to post on our crazy English language on Sundays. When I’m ready to publish one of my other projects, I’ll announce it here.

Have a sweet Valentine’s Day!

Wow Irene! This is amazing. I love how motivated you are.

Did you have any chocolate today?

    I hope you’re doing well.

We are. We moved before Christmas. Again!! What the hell? I’m now at a point in life where I’m wondering why I’ve moved so many times. A bit like my Dad in that way it seems.

I used to think I was quite different than Tony and that Andrew was more like him.

It’s a bit of a weird time for me/ us lately. It’s so expensive these days. It used to seem like only o er here but, I think it’s everywhere. My work is slow this time of year. Our new rent is a bit higher now.

    Trying to sort some things.

    Mostly really happy.

I’m over there in May a couple of times so I’ll be in touch.

    Cheers

    Love

    Patrick
